Functional but not the greatest quality. I thought this would be a good boot knife for my son for his birthday as he’s not a diver. I’m sure it will function well as a boot knife but I would keep looking if you want a dive knife. It’s a pretty heavy tactical knife that I found to not be very sharp, contrary to other reviewers experience. The tip is very sharp but the length of the blade doesn’t seem very sharp. Not the best quality Not the best quality. Ok knife, probably better suited as a boot knife vs. a dive knife. The blade has a very sharp point; the blade edge is not bad. The serrated portion on top is probably ok to cut or break fishing line if you happened to be tangled up on a dive. Not sure I would trust this knife if I were tangled up in nylon rope however.The sheath is very thin and flimsy, it would take a little practice to sheath and unsheathe under water.
